Overview
The Tempest is a brand new 200W box mod from Council of Vapor. It is the company’s most high-powered box mod and runs on three 18650 batteries.
The mod has a compact design even though it stores three batteries to produce its massive 200W output power. It features a zinc alloy body with a brushed metal finish and a rubber-textured panel on the side. It has an ergonomic design and was made to fit comfortably in either hand, regardless of size. The OLED screen has a mirrored glass finish, making the device stand out. On the screen, you will find an upgraded interface with a unique battery meter bar at the bottom of the menu. The display can be flipped 180 degrees for left-handed use. The fire button is large and clicky, and the 510 standard connection is spring-loaded to ensure compatibility. You can get the device in black or white.
The Tempest box mod has a whopping 200W of power and can be powered in these modes: power mode, temperature control mode (TC) Ni, TC Ti, TC SS. There are three memory slots to enter your favorite settings, and the unit can be fired in different ramp modes to ensure a customized vape experience.
The three 18650 batteries that power the Tempest can be accessed at the bottom of the device via a gun magazine-style battery sled. Push the lever at the bottom upwards, and the battery sled can be easily removed. The mod was built with reverse polarity protection in case you insert the cells incorrectly. There are also additional protections, including atomizer short circuit warning, overheat protection, low resistance warning, and checking atomizer if there’s a compatibility problem or nothing is connected to the mod. The Tempest can also be charged via its USB port.
