Geekvape B60 Aegis Boost 2 Overview

The follow-up to the Geekvape Aegis Boost, the B60 is therefore also known as the Aegis Boost 2. Compared to its predecessors, the design has not changed much, but different color options make the device stand out: rainbow, mint blue, black, golden red, bottle green, silver, and blue-red.

As with all Aegis starter kits, the Geekvape B60 Kit is waterproof but features a new tri-proof design to make it smaller and lighter. The new setup has an IP68 rating, indicating it may be submerged in 1 meter of freshwater for 30 minutes or less without damaging the circuit board. And it also withstands accidental drops and resists dust or grime, making it ideal for harsh environments.

Another unique aspect of this new kit is the A-lock on the side, a simple switch that prevents accidental firing. This sliding mechanism glides up or down to lock or unlock the device, making it safe to carry in a pocket or purse.

On the control face, there’s a 0.96-inch curved screen on which the UI displays full-color vape data vertically for easy viewing. Indicators include the current mode, a battery bar, the current power, the pod’s atomizer resistance, the current voltage, and a puff counter. Two adjustment buttons underneath the screen are used to navigate the menu or make uncomplicated changes to the settings.

On the technical level, the Geekvape B60 has an AS-Chip 3.0 to achieve several working modes, such as a smart mode that automatically selects the most efficient output for flavor and vapor while ensuring the durability of the pod’s coil. Power generates from a powerful 2000mAh battery that is rechargeable via a USB-C charging port with the included cable. And the maximum output comes in at 60 watts which should be produced stably, even if the battery is not fully charged.

A 5mL pod inserts into the top of the B60 mod and is easily refilled via a juice port with a rubber plug adjacent to the mouthpiece. This cartridge is leakproof to prevent messy situations, and airflow is adjustable to ensure a diverse vape experience. Air is directly funneled to the coil from two side inlets, resulting in faster vapor production and flavor.

And, this kit uses B series coils found in many other Geekvape Pod Kits with several available versions for restricted direct-to-lung or mouth-to-lung style puffs. Included in the box is a 0.2ohm version coil that fires from 50 to 58 watts and a 0.6ohm coil that operates from 15 to 25 watts.
