r150-panel-purchaseThe R150 from Hotcig is a brand new box mod that is built with a waterproof chip, temperature control, 150 watts of output and an amazing design.

The box mod features aircraft aluminum alloy construction with Abalone shell panels that are interchangeable for a custom look.  The panels are held down by powerful magnets and easily pop off for swapping.  Leather and carbon fiber panels with a wide range of design options will also be available.  The panels also hide the two 18650 batteries that power the unit, so battery swapping has never been this easy.

At the top of the mod, there’s a springloaded 510 connection pin for easy use with a wide range of atomizers. The control face features clicky buttons and a USB port for on board battery charging and firmware upgrades.  The screen in the middle has an easy menu with battery level, resistance, voltage, amperage, wattage and current mode.

What’s really cool about the R150 box mod is that the box mod’s chip board is completely waterproof.  There’s actually a video on youtube where they submerge the unit and use it after taking it out of the water.  The R150 has a maximum output power of 150 watts and is compatible in temperature control mode with nickel, titanium and stainless steel coil heads.  Temperature control has a range from 100 to 300 degrees Celsius.  The lowest atomizer resistance is 0.1Ω, making the mod usable with many of the new atomizers or builds out there.
