Design & Colors

The Geekvape Aegis Pod is one of the smallest cartridge systems in the vape marketplace. With a weight that comes in under 73 grams and a thickness of only 1.77cm, it is designed to easily fit into your jeans’ coin pocket. Available color options include beetle black, silver chafer, gunmetal, and tamarmushi which looks to be a rainbow-style finish.

Waterproof, Shockproof & Dustproof

As the first IP-67 rated pod system, the Geekvape Aegis Pod redefines what being shockproof, dustproof, and waterproof is all about. According to Geekvape, the new device has enhanced impact, fracture, and notch toughness which prevents fracturing due to accidental drops. To further enhance ruggedness, the kit is designed to evenly distribute stress and there’s also a tough zinc alloy shell for further protection from damage.

The IP-67 rating, or Ingress Protection, indicates how easily a liquid or solid can enter a product. The Aegis Pod’s IP-67 rating indicates it is completely protected from dust and can also defy being submerged in 3.3 feet or 1 meter of water for 30 minutes or less. It is important to note that you should not recharge the device while the type-C port is still wet or you may burn out the chipset rendering the Aegis pod defective.

3.5mL Pods w/ Futureproof G Coils

Each cartridge can store 3.5mL of e-juice and adding juice is done via a bottom fill slot that has a leakproof silicone or rubber plug. Adjacent to the fill port, you see the G Coil which installs via an effortless push/pull system. The G Coil system is brand new and was designed to be cross-compatible with upcoming Geekvape products that work in the range of 5 to 20 watts. Each mesh coil operates with a 0.6ohm resistance and results in a flavorful vapor that is sure to be best with nicotine salt-based e-liquids. Best of all, the mesh is made from refined kanthal (KA1) which extends lifespan and has high consistency for a similar puff every time.

Technical Details

With the pod connected to the mod, each kit measures 88.1mm x 40.3mm x 18mm and weighs only 73 grams. The shell is constructed from plastic, silicone, leather, and zinc alloy and available colors include beetle black, silver chafer, tamarmushi, and gunmetal.

The battery capacity inside the Aegis Pod is 800mAh and it utilizes a type-C port to recharge at 5V/1.5A. The device’s temperature is less than 45 degrees Celsius during the charging process. A battery LED monitors the charge level of the cell and will turn from green to red when the voltage drops below 69 percent.

Output from the battery tops out at 4.2 volts and firing occurs within 15ms. A myriad of safety protections includes 10 seconds over-puff, high-temperature protection at 80 Celsius, and low voltage protection at 3.2 volts.

Each cartridge stores 3.5mL of e-liquid and has a leakproof top airflow system and 0.6ohm mesh G coils for nic salts. The pod also supports 510 and 810 drip tips.
