Innokin Proton Overview
Technically, this mod can operate down to 0.05ohm resistances, gain up to 235 watts of power, and has a maximum 300-degree temperature setting. Temperature control functionality works with TCR, nickel, titanium, and stainless steel coil heating elements. For safety, an entire suite of protections includes reverse battery prevention, low resistance prevention, and dual circuit prevention. These are built into the hardware and software. Powering the Innokin Proton Express Box Mod are two 18650 high amperage cells that must be purchased separately. Installing the batteries is done by opening a bottom battery panel, and recharges are performed through a micro USB port with a fast 2 amp charging system.
In the design department, this mod looks quite portable thanks to measurements of only 44.6mm x 29.6mm x 85mm and is available with black, rainbow, and gunmetal color options. The front of the device is designed with a massive 1.45-inch full-color display, of which the font or theme can be set to six different colors. Underneath the screen is an adjustment joystick instead of the traditional plus and minus buttons. Using a joystick, Innokin has made navigation of the vertical menu easier. Connecting atomizers is done via a 510-threaded connection bezel which should be compatible with most atomizers, builds, or tanks in the marketplace.
