Overview

The R200 is a brand new box mod from Smoktech. It features a compact body and weighs less than the average box mods in its class. It’s available in black, grey, white and red.

The mod is said to have all the advantages of the R80 box mod, but with more power. It’s virtually the same size as the R80 so it’s easy to hold in the palm of the hand. The R200 is constructed of stainless steel and zinc alloy with a durable, soft finish.

With 200W of output, the R200 features massive power. The temperature control resistance range is from 0.06Ω to 2Ω and in power mode from 0.1Ω to 3.0Ω. The temperature range is 200°F to 600°F. The R200 has a smart chipset which features accurate temperature control with nickel, titanium and stainless steel coil heads. When in TC mode, the mod has Adjustable Initial Resistance technology in order to reduce contact conductivity problems. And, the device also detects and adjusts the resistance according to the coil type.

The R200 box mod is powered by two 18650 batteries which are hidden behind a new type of sliding magnetic door which is simple to open. Inside, there’s 24k gold plated terminals for best conductivity. The device can be charged via the USB port on the bottom which doubles as the firmware upgrade port.

The side of the mod features three smooth and clicky buttons. In between, there’s the OLED screen with an easy to navigate menu with indicators for power, voltage output, current resistance, temperature and battery levels. On the top of the device, there’s a standard 510 connector with a springloaded center pin to maximize stability and connectivity. In addition to the USB port, the bottom has ventilation holes to keep the device cool.

The R200 also has many safety features including 12 second puff time cutoff, short circuit protection, overheat protection and low battery warning.
