Overview

With the UD Balrog EX, the mod has been updated with a higher wattage and now utilizes a 26650 battery for fewer recharges. The device features a portable form factor and is available in black or red.

The EX has dimensions of 87mm x 47mm x 31mm and is made from zinc alloy for durability and ergonomics. The design has been updated to include finger grips for comfortable holding in the hand. The fire button is curlicue to ensure further ergonomics and the 510 connection bezel includes a condensation collection ring which also makes the device stand out.

The mod can utilize either an 18650 or 26650 battery. It is recommended to use the latter, but if you don’t have one, the battery adapter allows for easy installation of an 18650 battery. You can charge the cell externally or plug the device in for use with the on board charging setup.

The Balrog EX mod has a power output range of 4W to 75W. It is capable of firing builds or tanks all the way to 0.1ohm in variable temperature mode and 0.15ohm in other operating modes. Temperature operation works from 200 to 600 Fahrenheit and works with nickel, stainless steel or titanium coil heads.

The mod comes with a wide range of modes pre-installed that are easily accessed via the OLED on the control face. You can fire the device in power mode, power curve mode, TC SS, TC Ni200 and TC Ti. There’s also a TCR mode where you can enter your coil wire’s resistance for a more accurate vape experience or for use with virtually any coil type.
