Overview

The Vapecige VTBox DNA 250C features the latest Evolv chip board, a full color display, accurate performance, 200 watts of power, versatile temperature control, uploadable themes, fast charging, an incredible customization via Escribe downloadable software.

Design-wise the VTBox DNA 250C looks very similar to its DNA 250 predessor. The mod is constructed from aviation aluminum with a rubber finish that is both durable and won’t slip from the hand. The buttons on the control face are made from aluminum and should be as clicky as the previous VTBox device. You may purchase the new mod in black or black with red. On the control face, you will see a full color TFT screen that measures 0.96 inch across and has a 160×80 pixel resolution. In combination with Evolv’s Escribe 2 and Theme designer, you may change the font’s colors, replace the background and even upload themes for a really customized look. And, navigating all the different menus is very easy due to a third “select” button that allows for easily choosing menu items.

Technically, the VTBox DNA250C is capable of a reduced 200 watts of power due to the fact it only utilizes dual 18650 batteries which look to be hidden behind a magnetic panel. The cells are rechargeable via the micro USB port that will recharge them superfast thanks to a 2 amp current. Accurate temperature control works with stainlesss steel, titanium and nickel atomizer heating elements down to 0.08ohm with a maxiumum temperature setting of 600 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition to the temperature and variable wattage modes, there’s also a boost mode which allows you to increase the initial power while firing, as well as a replay system which allows for perfect flavor production while using your favorite build or tank. Best of all, any of your favorite settings can be stored into memory slots, although it is uncertain how many settings can be stored.
