With dimensions of 46.03mm x 37.10mm x 81.5mm and a weight of 290g, the updated mod is slightly larger and heavier than the RX2 20700. The new mod utilizes two powerful 21700 cells for long vaping times without recharging. The cells are included with the purchase and are accessed via a back cover that slides down to reveal the battery bay. This device is built with a micro USB charging system that tops off the onboard cells at a fast two amps of current via the micro USB port. The charging setup utilizes a balanced system to ensure each cell achieves the same charge level. This assures a safe vaping experience!
Technically, the RX2 21700 mod can produce 230 watts, 315 degrees Celsius temperature output, and low resistance at 0.05ohm during variable temperature operation and 0.10ohm in power mode. Temperature control surely works with nickel, stainless steel, and titanium, and there is a TCR mode for entering specific resistance data for your atomizer’s coil. Dual circuit and reverse polarity protections prevent unsafe vaping, making this one of the more reliable box mods in the vape marketplace.
Visually, the Reuleaux RX 2 21700 looks much like the RX 2 20700 mod but is available with new vibrant colors, including gloss black, gradient purple, gradient green, and gradient white. A 1.3-inch screen’s user interface on the control face includes data such as current mode, power/temperature, voltage, current resistance, current amperage, and two battery bars. Above the screen, you will see the familiar fire button with JayBo logo, which is large for effortless firing. At the top of the mod, there’s a 510 threaded/springloaded connection bezel for maximum compatibility with most atomizers in stores today.
