The Captain 1865 is the latest mod in the Captain series of mods. The new device features a similar exquisite design, a large display screen, 162 watts of power, instant fire speed, a myriad of modes including bypass, temp and pod, various safety protections and low resistance capability.

Superb Design

From a design perspective, the 1865 is not so much different from its predecessor. The device has the same ergonomic carbon fiber side panels and is compact with dimensions of only 84.4mm x 44mm x 30mm. Available finish options include black, gunmetal and rainbow.

Large Display

On the front, the 0.96 inch display screen looks the same as the previous Captain mods. Data is shown in a vertical way and has indicators such as temperature, wattage, voltage, battery bars, resistance, amperage, a puff counter and even the current time.

Dual 18650 Battery Support

This mod works with two 18650 batteries and it is built with a micro USB charging port which also doubles as a firmware upgrade port. A hinged battery door at the bottom permits easy access to the battery bay and the micro USB port is also used for firmware upgrades.

IWEPAL Chip set

The Captain 1865 mod is built with the latest IWEPAL chip board which allows for 162 watts of power and instant firing. Additionally, there are a wide range of operating modes: bypass, power, pod, temperature control (nickel, titanium, stainless steel), and pod (variable voltage).

For safety, you will find that the device includes protections against short circuits, high current, high voltage, overcharging and there’s also PTC protective circuit feature.
