THC Tauren Hybrid Mech Mod Overview
Unlike the majority of mods in the vape market place, the Tauren Hybrid by THC supports two different modes: full mechanical or smart protection mode, each of which has its own adaptor. While the mechanical adapter permits unregulated operation, the X Chip smart protection adaptor permits the installation of the propriety X chipset that features short circuit protection, high-temperature protection, low voltage protection, and 10-second cutoff. But, with the X chipset, the only supported battery type is 18650, while the mechanical adaptor also permits the installation of a single 20700 or 21700 cell.
Design-wise, the Thunderhead Creations Tauren Hybrid mod is an exact copy of the Tauren Max mod, but with the new attachments. As you can see, the shape of the THC Tauren Hybrid is ergonomic and a plethora of brass colors are available. To make the entire setup stand out, a golden Tauren Max shield is visible and there’s also has an exclusive serial number in gold at the top. Inside the THC Tauren Hybrid Mod, there are spring-loaded/silver-plated battery contacts and a 360 degree contact ball is included for maximum conductivity and instant firing. The system easily locks by a simple twist of the cap and the entire mod is dustproof, waterproof, and shockproof.
