Overview
The Aspire Nautilus Prime X kit is the follow-up to the Nautilus Prime. Compared to the previous design, the X is much easier to hold in the hand, yet it has the same modes and power. This means that the differences are primarily in the appearance which features new back decoration inserts, a new side control face with color user interface, as well as new main body colors.
Moreover, the Nautilus Prime X now utilizes a 18650 battery instead of an external one. The battery bay can be accessed via a convenient bottom battery panel that flips open at the press of a button. With an identical charging system as its predecessor, charging the Aspire Nautilus Prime X is quite simple as a 2 amp USB-C charging port on the side works well with an included cable.
In the operation department, the Nautilus Prime X can put out power in the range of 1 to 60 watts, thanks to the latest ASP chipset. There is an automatic mode for beginner vapers that intelligently matches power with the coil resistance, or more experienced can set the unit to variable wattage, variable voltage, or bypass mode. Many safety protections include vaping overtime, short circuit, overheating, low voltage, overcharge, and over-discharge protection.
Each Nautilus Prime X also includes two cartridges with different coils for versatility. The first cartridge is the Prime X N-Pod which has a 0.7ohm coil that can be utilized with higher-nicotine vape juices. Or, you may prefer the 0.3ohm B-Pod, ideal for sub-ohm vape juices under 6mG of nicotine strength. These pods produce dense vapor and decent flavor, and you may change airflow to your liking for a mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung puff style. And the cartridge can store 4ml of juice, topped off via a side-filling juice port.
