Overview
The Callisto is the Council of Vapor’s (CoV) latest portable box mod. It features a fashionable appearance, ergonomic design, 80 watts of output and three temperature control modes.
This mod is made from zinc alloy for durability and has a textured silver or gunmetal paint finish to give it a delicate and high-end appearance. During the design phase, maximum ergonomics was kept in mind, so the Callisto will always be comfortable to hold. With measurements of 42mm x 27mm x 78mm, the device is also easily placed in the pocket or purse. There’s a large fire button and two vertically oriented adjustment buttons next to a large OLED on the control face. The menu is horizontal and features standard indicators such as wattage, temperature, mode, coil material, voltage and resistance. At the top, there’s a 510 connection bezel that is built with three ventilation grooves for excellent airflow.
Although the exact process by which the battery accessed is unavailable, it looks like the back sleeve slides off to arbitrarily replace the single 18650 external cell. A USB charging port on the control face also permits charging the battery without the necessity of removal.
The Callisto features all the technical capabilities you’ve come to expect from a CoV box mod. It can fire with an output of up to 80 watts, has 3 temperature control modes for nickel, titanium and stainless steel and can perform with a resistance as little as 0.10ohm.
Overall, the Callisto mod should bring stable and precise performance and looks great from a design perspective. And, since this is a Council of Vapor product, it is sure to be very popular.
