Overview
The DX75 is an Evolv DNA 75 box mod from Hotcig. It is powered by either a 26650 or 18650 battery, is highly intelligent and features up to 75W of power with accurate temperature control.
The mod is made from zinc alloy, has a smooth matte finish and an amazing design with soft curves. You can get one in red with black, black & grey or all black. It measures 30 mm x 87mm x 42mm so it is a little smaller than the VT75 and perhaps one of the smallest DNA 75 devices out there. The control face features a flashing LED light that surrounds the fire button, a bright DNA 75 OLED screen for easy operation, two adjustment buttons and a USB port for charging, firmware updates or customizing the mod. At the top, there is a stainless steel 510 connection with a gold plated 510 springloaded center pin. The bezel will easily fit large diameter tanks or RDAs up to 40mm, without overhang.
The DX75 is quite unique as it can use either a 26650 battery for longer vape time or an 18650 cell with use of the included battery adapter. The battery is easily accessed via a screwed battery cover at the bottom and can be charged via the USB port by simply plugging it into your computer or wall outlet. With Escribe software installed on your desktop, the mod can be completely customized and firmware upgrades can be performed.
The DNA 75 chip board allows the mod to operate in power mode and a wide range of temperature control modes. There’s quite a few mode presets including SS mode, titanium mode and 6 nickel modes. The maximum power is 75W, the maximum temperature comes in at 600 Fahrenheit and the lowest atomizer resistance is a super-low 0.01Ω. With these specifications, the DX75 is guaranteed to work with virtually any tank, build or RTA in the marketplace that doesn’t require more than 75 watts of power.
