Fingerprint Recognition System
The OBS Skye is designed with a fingerprint recognition system, previously seen in pod kits such as the OBS Cube FP. In this way, you can rest assured no one else can fire or access the setup. There are a total of 3 different fingerprint modes, the first of which is the security mode that prevents children from using the mod, while protecting your privacy. In fingerprint mode, touching the fire button results in the scanning of your fingerprint that, if recognized, permits firing of the Skye Kit. To enter the administrator mode, simply touch the fire button 6 times in succession to add your fingerprint into the memory. Several memory slots are available.
1600mAh Battery For 40 Watts Of Variable Power
Constructed from zinc alloy, the OBS Skye is comfortable in the hand and also portable. Built with a 1600mAh battery, the pod kit can generate up to 40 watts of power almost instantly and you can change this setting via an OLED display screen with vertical UI. A Type-C USB charging port on the control face permits fast 2 amp charging. As a bonus, the chipboard monitors safe operation and employs several security measures when needed including short circuit, over-current, charging protection, over-puff, high-temperature, and low voltage protection.
4mL Pods For RDL or MTL Vaping
The OBS Skye cartridges work with several different coils for either restricted direct lung or mouth to lung vaping. With the kit, you’ll get the 1.0ohm SK regular coil and the 0.4ohm OM YE mesh coils. The first should be used with nic salt for a MTL vape experience, while the mesh coil is for standard e-liquids with a nicotine level below 6mg. The Skye Pods can store 4mL of e-liquid and are effortlessly refilled.
