The Phyer mod is a DNA box mod designed by Thunderhead Creation in California. It is built with an Evolv DNA chip, utilizes an 1100mAh capacity battery, can power atomizers all the way up to 200 watts and features a very unique and ergonomic design.
The mod is available in black with red, measures 51mm x 32mm x 103mm and is built from oxidized aluminum alloy for easy handling and fingerprint resistance. The mod’s design is unlike any other DNA 200 box mod with a streamlined shape that gives the unit a contemporary look and makes it easy to hold. The buttons on the control face are made of durable stainless steel. In between the buttons, there’s a 0.91″ OLED screen with a standard DNA menu. At the top, you will see a 510 connection for easy use with virtually any atomizer.
The Phyer mod utlizes an 1100mAh built-in battery that is charged via the USB port at the bottom of the control face. The USB port is also used to customize the mod with Escribe software installed on your PC. Or, you can upgrade the firmware, if Thunderhead Creations releases one.
The box mod is made with an Evolv DNA 200 chip which has long been voted as perhaps the best by the vaping community. This permits the box mod to fire atomizers up to 200 watts and down to just 0.1Ω. A DNA 200 chip also allows for temperature control from 200 to 600°F with virtually any wire type, including a TCR mode with which you can set the temperature coefficient of resistance for more accurate coil firing.
