Overview
Design-wise the XOMO Exo Armor features a very creative design. The unit has a zinc alloy chassis and transparent PC materials. The Armor plating stays in place thanks to powerful N52 magnets which also results in durability and an ergonomic feel. And, that’s not all. The device is coated in UV protective and fingerprint resistant black paint that is sure to stand the test of time. Size-wise, the XOMO Exo Armor Box Mod measures 90mm x 67mm x 34.5mm and weighs 300 grams. On the front, there’s an exquisite TFT HD display that displays an easy-to-read menu in full color and of which the screen brightness is adjustable. Surrounding the screen, there’s also 4 LED lights that can be customized to your liking. When we look under the hood of the Exo Armor Mod, we find an advanced Yihi chipset that allows for 300 watts of maximum power down to a resistance of 0.05ohm in power mode and 0.10ohm in temperature control modes. The device can operate in temperature control mode with nickel, titanium and stainless steel or you may prefer the more advance TCR mode. Powering the XOMO Exo Armor are dual 18650 batteries that are hidden in a magnetic battery bay and which can be recharged via a convenient micro USB interface. Finally, there are also a multitude of safety protections built into this device such as overheat, overcharge, reverse battery and output short protections.
