Wismec Presa Mod Overview
The Presa 40W is the latest in the long line of Wismec Presa box mods. It features temperature control functionality and 40 watts of maximum output power.
The mod is constructed from stainless steel and features a compact form factor. It has a unique look with a hidden fire button which is ergonomically sculpted to ensure ease of use. And it’s portable and fits comfortably in the palm of your hand or even in your pocket. You can get one in black, silver, or white
The Presa TC 40W has a maximum output power of 40W and features temperature control functionality in the range of 200°F to 600°F for nickel, stainless steel, and titanium coil heads. It can be run in several modes, including power mode, bypass mode, three different TC modes, or TCR mode. The latter allows you to manually set the temperature coefficient of resistance based on the coil wire grade. The unit can also fire atomizers down to 0.05Ω, ensuring it is usable with most atomizers.
The device can be powered by either a high-rate 26650 (35 A) battery or a 18650 battery (25A), with the help of a battery sleeve. Replacing the battery has never been easier as it is behind an easily removed back cover held by powerful magnets. The Presa also features onboard charging via its USB port but charging the power cell externally is always recommended. The USB port doubles as a firmware upgrade board to keep the device updated.
The Presa 100W features a new 0.96-inch OLED screen with easy navigation. Via the menu, you can easily change the mode or see the current wattage/voltage, temperature, real-time resistance, current, battery level, puff stats, or circuit board temperature.
The top of the device features a 510 connector with a springloaded center pin to ensure it is compatible with your tank or build. Above the screen, there’s a manual safety lock switch to ensure you can safely store the unit in your pocket. To ensure that the Presa stays updated with future technology, there’s also a USB port for firmware upgrades at the bottom.
